There's a rising smoke in the air
The fire in the sky
The world in the eyes of a bleeding skull
These are the casualties we create
An environment of thriving despair
Because of a self-righteous cry
And like combustion in a hull
We choke during our incinerated fate

So you run deep and the world runs low
The reality television show in your hand
A baby's life honestly has to be debated
A world we donate credibility is led astray
Everything's a show
And the way you allow resentment to expand
As the chain is continuously dissipated
Compromise is one hell of a miracle's distance away

CHORUS:
And it is a dragon in the wake of the night
The way I'm a portrayed as a dirt low demon
There's still a dog collar I'm stuck within
And to be branded for my ideological perception
I know, it's difficult to understand no light
when there's so much support for the run
Could you again twirl me upon your finger so I can feel a spin
The common consensus would declare my self-deception
Well if this is the route you take, after things fall apart
To ignite what was for so long enriched, for the false purpose
of a god forsaken entity, then welcome to the game of uranium hearts

Cripple me and scatter me throughout
Spit, strangle, and seclude
There's a way this world will motivate
When it merges like desperate sex
There's a ringing shout
A dangerous, but necessary prelude
Stop, for going at this rate
You will fall to all that is willing to vex

(CHORUS)

I'll be coming down from that mountain
No prophet, nothing like the pope
My ego doesn't promote self-indulgent thought
Instead I sit to further the peace you deny
The short run, extended so long in the rain
You can't wash guilt with a dirty bar of moral soap
I'm a smile forever caught
Once did I, but never again will I, to you, lie

Now sitting on the ground
Embers, scattered, among the ash
We were distraught
And it was the fault in my action
But I've excessively been around
I've got that secret remorse stash
But I need that hope I've long sought
Don't forever keep me under the gun

(CHORUS)

This one is a combination of two things, merged in one. In some ways, it's an anthem of compromise. But the overall general idea, is war can't last forever. War among nations, war among alliances, war among religions, war among peoples, or even war among hearts. Grudges lasting forever only create a long-standing hostility that distills and ruins one's soul. I guess the frustration surrounding that came out in this one.

Thank you for the comment and adding this to your favorites, as well :)

The title was something that sprang on me today, with an idea relating to something I've been feeling. The whole uranium metaphor. Uranium can be enriched for two purposes: A good purpose, in nuclear energy, and a bad, in nuclear weapons. The idea behind the song is to portray how playing with fire can lead to the worst of things. So yeah, it can be related to chemistry. Thanks again the for the kind words, I appreciate it very much :)

Death comes for us all. We can only chose how to face it when it comes.

Thank you very much :)

I try to keep something unique in each of my works. I hate being too cliche (even though alot of my work is too cliche for its own good =P)

you are very welcome. :D
